The Truck Arrives

On May 2nd at 10:30 in the morning the truck arrived with the merchandise we had selected and purchased in February. Even the rain couldn't dampen my spirits.

The driver/unloader was very adept. He's been driving trucks for 25 years and really knew how to drive that dolly.

We filled the garage with 6 pallets.

We ripped into them searching for the work of those artists we were featuring that night for Madison's semi-annual Gallery Night. We needed to search through boxes filled with wadded up newsprint to find our treasures.
A big "Thank You" to the family and friends who stopped by to pitch in and help over the weekend.

In my next blog I'll begin to show you some of the beautiful pieces we acquired. I hope to put many of them up on the website as well. But, for now, unpacking and getting each piece into our computer system takes top priority. Until next time...
